So, first time here. I had a tennis date on a Wed afternoon. The facility is very clean. Courts are rented out by the hour, very reasonable. It's probably a good idea to call ahead before you go, just to make sure of court availability. You can also book a court online. We had many courts to choose from when we went. There are tennis, racquetball, and pickleball courts here. There's a well equipped courthouse, helpful pro, ball machines you can rent, snacks and drinks for sale. Outside, there are dressing rooms, lots of benches for watching, very nice. We had a blast, and tennis is great exercise!

Why not just rename the place 'The Reffkin Pickleball Center'? The place promotes social morning drop-in pickleball 7 days a week, but there's NO MORNING tennis drop-in at all. Reffkin isn't run like a taxpayer funded public park. It's run like it's been co opted by the central Tucson wealthy for their playing convenience.

Reffkin is owned by the city but privately managed. The courts are very nice, club quality. No memberships, but the rate is $5.50/1.5hr. Frequent tournaments, events, etc.
