Just getting started playing pickleball, and these courts are crowded -- always. We need another 80 courts and I fear would still be crowded. I've been waking up at 5am to get there by 530 and still the courts are almost always full. I've tried going in the evenings near 10pm and they are also full with people waiting... Being new and still getting acquainted to the game it is a bit overwhelming to have so many others that know all the rules and expectations already. Perhaps there should be some designated beginner courts to help new people getting used to the sport.

For those saying they were getting harassed......was it u and 1 other person playing on the court ?? was there paddles in the holder waiting to play? If both of those statements are true than u were in the wrong. If u would have taken the time to read the giant board that states the rules then u would have known that when courts are full and there are paddles waiting u aren't allowed to play singles. That's the rules the city put in place not the other players that are playing there. So talk bad about others all u want but if I explained your situation u might owe some one an apology.....and might wanna read the rules before trying something new and taking offense to someone following the rules

Perfect place to play, especially when you are in from out of town. We enjoyed playing in the mornings, late afternoons, and into the evenings. Well lit and always people to play with. Met many kind people while we were here for the month of December. We liked it so much we drove 25 minutes each day from Mesa as it was a much better set up then the new courts in Mesa, as you have to pay for there courts by the hour and bring your own friends to play. Easy parking and lots of clean bathrooms too!
