What a great place to take a child and let them play. I took my 4-year-old grandson, and he played really hard for 2 hours. This giant playground is awesome. I'm used to a rope hanging from a tree and maybe 2 swings. This place is like a kids dream come true. There are benches for the adults to sit on. I had a hard time keeping up with where my grandson was. Look at the pictures and you'll see why. There are nice clean restrooms. I highly recommend you take the kids here. There is a water fountain by the gate entrance and back gate.

This is a nice park during the day. It's usually safe, and I've been coming here since I was a kid. Now, I usually hunt for mushrooms to identify in the woods area. There's tons of species back there. There's a pretty good trail/forest system connected, as well as a disc golf course.

The playground is an “out-of-the-box” plastic structure. No hanging, pull-up or monkey bars. No structures for adults to exercise or train on except a walking path. And the splash pad has really warm water, which is not fun when it’s 100° outside and the water just shoots up from the ground. No dumping buckets or unique or playful structures. I teach parkour and ninja fitness classes and workshops wish they had more unique and creative endurable structures for jumping, climbing, swinging, etc.
